MetroBostonNetworking is a local, independent home networking company built around one specific job: designing, installing, and tuning UniFi networks for homes that already have Ethernet cabling in the walls.
We kept running into the same story. A family upgrades to gigabit internet, the speed test by the router looks great, and the upstairs office still drops video calls. Meanwhile there are Ethernet jacks in the walls that nobody has ever used.
So we started doing something about it. We design and install proper UniFi networks that use the wiring a home already has — and then we spend the time to tune them properly, which is the part most installers skip.
This service is specifically for houses with pre-run Ethernet. If your home doesn't have cabling in the walls, we can refer you to a low-voltage contractor who can run it — and come back to build the network once the wiring is in place.
We're not an enterprise IT company and we don't want to be. We want homeowners with pre-wired homes to have something dramatically better than the typical ISP router or off-the-shelf mesh kit, without needing to understand any of it themselves.
